[ Chihiro has been wrangling with the teleportation glitches she's been suffering, forcing them into a semblance of something she can control. TO degrees.
Enough so that she's mostly voluntarily controlling the direction of her teleportations. It's not enough to guarantee anything in a fast paced environment like the one that's happening with the Flamines' arrival, but it means when she snaps into existence near to Izumi, she's at least ready to move again. ]
Izumi-kun!
[ Not to mention holding out her hand as she spies whatever's heading their way. If he lets her take hold of his arm or takes her hand, she'll glitch teleport them up to the neighboring roof as one of the unmasked Flamines surges by and past. IF NOT THEN UH. SHE THROWS HERSELF AT HIM AND TRIES ANYWAY. AS YOU DO. ]
[ The cubes in the process of flickering into existence fizzle out with Chihiro's sudden arrival, the wide-eyed Izumi registering her presence. Somewhere in the chaotic train of thought about what he should be doing, he notices the proffered hand; unfortunately, he's not quick enough to accept it as he should. ]
Chihi –
[ HOWEVER, AS ONE DOES, he gets a faceful of one (1) Chihiro for the sake of timing and is summarily ejected to a nearby roof, where he stumbles to a stand with a gasp. ]
[ She stumbles along with him, keeping her balance and twisting around to glance furtively behind them. Chihiro doesn't trust the reprieve or her own luck. The Flamines have left her alone, but the vine and leaf mask that sits on top of her head for lack of anywhere to properly carry it.
Heart pounding, she clenches her fists as she turns back his way. ]
How have you been?
[ ... granted, she's not sure how to find the words to express her concerns over people she knows and cares about, so Izumi gets whatever she blurted out first. Followed soon thereafter with: ]
I'm so glad you're okay.
[ Read: I'm glad you are not presently dead and dying. None of this explains her glitching manipulations, but that's neither here nor there on her priority scales. ]
[ And here he is with the ): mask tied around his shoulder, because Tachikawa didn't think to add big pockets to their trench coats. Why does his mask stink while Chihiro's gets a pretty cool design? ]
You're looking good, yourself. But what was that earlier?
[ They went from point A to B in the blink of an eye, and they're not even in ViViD. As someone who has yet to experience a glitch, Izumi is a little lost. ]
[ Suck up to the elemental gods more okay? Not that Chihiro knows the hows or why of what mask any one person has. She only vaguely recalls the "guide to Cerealia" talking about masks having been important at some time in the months before she manifested. ]
I glitched us here. They've been happening again, where powers and stuff go all crazy? Only it's not just that. I've figured out how to control where I go when I get less physical, and kind of can hold them off or bring them on if I focus.
[ Controlling her leaping does not, however, prevent it when she's hit heavily with a glitching spell. Having control over it hasn't meant being able to stop it completely. ]
[ This colony is so screwed up. Izumi cranes his neck to look down the side of the building they're on, where the Flamines march past with intense speed. And here's Chihiro, getting less physical at the most (in)opportune times. ]
You're not going to phase out of existence or anything, are you?
[ She says, not exactly calm about it, but looking fairly determined that such won't end up being the case. She tucks her bangs behind her ear... just to have them slip free again as she turns her head his way. ]
But I'd like to believe that's not any more likely than you phasing out of this existence. I'm here, just in different places than I expected to be, much faster than before.
[ If it's difficult to locate them, that probably applies to communication over the network as well. Izumi looks around, not that he can see much with the naked eye alone. Times like this, he wishes the radar would pick up more than just Trion signals. ]
What are some safe spots that people might go to? If there aren't any, we'll just have to look around for signs of combat.
... The school, maybe, but I don't know if we think of any one place as being safe. What's going to be safe from the Flamines anyway? Too close to the edges of the colony, and people start feeling sick. I don't know if the pleasure district ever got fixed... somewhere in the residential district, maybe?
[ She's guessing because there's so much she has no idea about, it becomes nothing but a guessing game to determine what the most likely answer is in the end. ]

Are you seriously ten years old?
But you've made it this far, so it looks like you've got it under control. Now what? Those things are everywhere.

I'm seriously ten years old and here. We're not really young around here! Not for long.
[ that's what it feels like half the time, anyway. which is frustrating! but nothing she can throw off so easily anymore. ]
I'm not sure. They came from up above. Um... I don't know, I never learned about alien invasions in school!
[ ironically that's all you, bud ]

Let's find the others. Have you heard from Kashuu-san?

Not yet. Everyone gets active at times like this, so it's difficult to know where they all are.
[ Swords especially??? They seem prone to fighting and protecting each other and... presumably the others they care about. ERGO. ]
When the glitching is happening, I can move us around really quickly. Where should we be looking first?
